MINUTES OF THE MEETING

A meeting was conducted on 13.05.2013 at 12.00 hrs under the chairmanship of the Director of Research to discuss the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yajana (RKVY) new projects to be submitted to Govt. of Maharashtra for sanction in 2013-14. The following officers and staff members were present for the meeting.

2.      Prof. D. M. Mahale, Associate Dean, CAET, Dapoli.

3.      Dr. M. M. Shirdhankar, Prof. & Head, Deptt. of FRESE, College of Fisheries, Ratnagiri

4.      Dr. Hukamsingh Dhaker, Prof. & Head, Deptt. of Aquaculture, College of Fisheries, Ratnagiri

5.      Dr. B. G. Desai, Head, Deptt. of Animal Husbandry & Dairy Science, DBSKKV, Dapoli

6.      Dr. B. R. Salvi, Associate Director of Research, RFRS, Vengurle

7.      Dr. S. V. Sawardekar, Associate Professor, Plant Biotechnology Unit, DBSKKV, Dapoli

9.      Dr. V. G. Salvi, Associate Professor, Deptt. of SSAC, College of Agriculture, Dapoli.

            At the outset, Director of Research welcomed the participants and explained purpose of the meeting. He asked to concerned Project Incharge to present RKVY new projects as per guidelines given in letter No.DBSKKV/RES-3/254 /3704/2013,Date 09.05.2013 .

            The Principal Investigators of the concerned projects the presented the new projects. During the presentation it was observed the projects were modified as per the suggestions however, in some of the project the following information need to be added.  

1.      The Year wise cash in flow, cash out flow and net cash flow should be workout (Action Principle Investigators all project)

2.      The Techno economic feasibility should worked out (Action : Principle Investigators all project)

3.      Project Component wise expenditure and target of achievement need to added (Action: all project Principle Investigators)

4.      The project related fisheries and animal husbandry should be submitted to concerned commissioner (Action : All principle Investigator in case of project of fisheries, project on Konkan Kanyal Goat.)

5.      The Director of Research also informed all Project Incharge to attend the meeting of RKVY at MCAER, Pune on 17.05.2013 and present the projects during the meeting.

6.      In case of project on promotion Organic agriculture, it was observed that, nither the project was modified as per the suggestions nor self sufficiency of the project was explained during the presentation. In this regard, Director of Research expressed dissatisfaction on this and he opined that the project may be deffered, if it is permitted by the Hon. Vice Chancellor.
